Here’s how you can make this delicious mocktail at home.

How to Make Myteabox’s Grinch Mocktail for Christmas in July

Equipment You’ll Need:

    • A nice tumbler or cocktail glass

 

    • A cocktail shaker set (optional; can be replaced with a blender if not available)

 

    • A milk frother or whisk 

 

 

Ingredients:

    • 80ml Myteabox Limited Edition Candy Cane White Tea (Cold Brewed over 24 hours)

 

    • 80ml Fresh Cream

 

    • 80ml Semi-Skimmed Milk

 

    • 1 Teaspoon Matcha Powder

 

    • 4 Polo Mint Candies (Crushed)

 

    • 40g White Chocolate Chips (Melted)

 

    • Ice Cubes

 

    • Food Colouring Liquid (Green, Red)

Instructions:

Prepare Your Glass:

  1. Crush the Polo mint candies. Divide them into two portions, dye one portion with a few drops of red food colouring. Once dyed, mix the white and red crushed mints together to create a festive candy cane look.
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips and mix in the crushed mints, then dip the rim of your tumbler or cocktail glass into the melted chocolate. Set the glass aside to allow the chocolate to set.

Mix the Mocktail:

  1. In a small glass or bowl, whisk the matcha powder with the semi-skimmed milk until it is fully dissolved and frothy. Using a milk frother will make this easier.
  2. In a cocktail shaker or blender, combine the cold-brewed Candy Cane White Tea, fresh cream, the matcha mixture, and a handful of ice cubes.
  3. Add a few drops of green food colouring to the mixture to give it that iconic Grinch green colour. Shake or blend until well-mixed and chilled.

Assemble the Mocktail:

  • Strain the mocktail mixture into the glass. 
  • Add a few ice cubes. 
  • Time to enjoy!
